I was so lucky today! I took pictures of an 18 day old newborn. Normally, babies this old do not sleep well. This little guy pleasantly surprised me and slept like a champ. To add to my day, his older sister was a doll to work with. She was so fun and easy to photograph. As if that was not enough, the newborn’s dad had amazing tattoos on his arms. I even captured a smile while his dad was holding him. What a great day!
In my life, I have never seen a baby with such amazing hair! This little girl was a great treat to work with. It was a pleasure to meet her and her parents.
Our trip this summer to visit family was amazing! We spent a full week with people we love and truly enjoy. It was so fun to see all of the cousins playing and getting to spend time together. It is too bad we only get to do it once every few years. Here is a sampling of our family session. Thanks to Ashley, I was even able to get in one picture.
While on vacation, I chose to make the most of my time and do a couple of sessions. This particular day was warm and very humid! I am a California girl through and through. The humidity of the Midwest almost killed me. I, however, did survive and ended up with some great pictures of a great girl. Not only is she beautiful on the outside, she is also amazingly beautiful on the inside.
I was on vacation for most of June. Unfortunately, I have neglected my blog since then. I am going to attempt to get caught up this week. I have several sessions to post. I will also be posting my Christmas specials very soon. Stay tuned……
