Is It Really Time To Think About Chrsitmas?

I know it is hard to believe, but it really is time to think about Christmas pictures.  Before you know it,  the leaves will start to change and the weather will be cold.  The holiday season will be in full swing before you realize you need to have your Christmas pictures taken.

Ease your mind and your list.  Take your pictures while everyone is still tan from summer and rested from vacation.

Playing Catch-Up!

To say that I have neglected my blog would be an understatement!  The winter months always bring the challenge of trying to balance business and family.  Along the way, something has to give.  Unfortunately, that something was my blog.  Over the next few days, I will be catching up and posting from my sessions this winter.  I am also updating and modifying the format of my blog.  If things look a little crazy, please hang in there.  I promise to have it all running correctly in a week or so.

Newborns and Tattoos ~ Merced Newborn Photographer~

I was so lucky today!  I took pictures of an 18 day old newborn.  Normally, babies this old do not sleep well.  This little guy pleasantly surprised me and slept like a champ.  To add to my day, his older sister was a doll to work with.  She was so fun and easy to photograph.  As if that was not enough, the newborn’s dad had amazing tattoos on his arms.  I even captured a smile while his dad was holding him.  What a great day!

CUPS Performs the Story of Joseph

The dancers from Westside Ministries’ dance program, CUPS, put on a great performance last weekend.  This is a group of very talented dancers.

Westside Ministries is a group in Turlock that ministers to the people of the Westside.  The programs benefit everyone, especially children.  Twice a year they put on a show and it is completely free to the community.  If you are available, it is totally worth your time.

I am fortunate to be able to photograph for them.  Here is a sampling of the show.

A Large Display To Make Up For My Absence!

I should start by saying that I have been very blessed this holiday season.  I have been extremely busy.  Since I am still a mom and my children still want food, my blog has suffered.  So, I am going to show you a little of what I have been up to.  I promise to continue to update over the next couple of days.

I have met some fantastic people and have enjoyed finding new ways to make people look at me.  Just yesterday, I had to bark like a dog.  There is no room for shame when you are a children’s photographer!
